Das wohl wichtigste Kriterium bei der Wahl eines Renn-Hardtails ist das Gewicht. Und da setzt das Scale noch immer den Massstab. Dank der CR1-Technologie wiegt der Rahmen gerade mal 980 Gramm. Dank rennerprobter Geometrie reagiert das Scale blitzschnell und lässt sich jederzeit sicher steuern. Selbst tiefster Schlamm kann ihm nichts anhaben, dank Kettenstreben mit viel Reifenfreiheit und durchgehend geschlossen verlegten Kabelzügen. Das Scale ist die Rennwaffe der Scott-Swisspower-Fahrer Nino Schurter und Florian Vogel.
Neu mit integriertem Tretlager
Für noch geringeres Gewicht und noch direktere Kraftübertragung wird das Scale jetzt auch mit integriertem Tretlager gefertigt und mit den aktuellsten Rennkomponenten ausgestattet. Das int. BB Sram PF30 Tretlager ist kompatibel mit Srams neuen XX-Komponenten.

CR1 Technology
Our legendary CR1 process, still the envy of the industry, is used in the rear triangle and seat tube. This maximizes strength and allows us to shave weight over conventional carbon or aluminum construction.
CR1 is proven, light, and features extremely durable bottom bracket design.
SDS Shock Damping System
The Scale frame has not only been developed to be the lightest, but also to give a comfortable ride to keep the rider feeling fresh until their ride or race is over.
HMX-NET Carbon Fiber
While we already use the proven HMF composite fiber on all of our composite high-end bike models, we have improved upon conventional HMF material. This new fiber, which is produced exclusively for Scott, offers 20% more stiffness and is employed on all the areas that need additional rigidity. This new material also allows us to reduce weight and improve riding characteristics. NET stands for Naked External Tubeset, and the LTD model sheds its exterior cosmetic layer, which saves even more weight.
